The Plasmanet world – how it works
Plasmanet uses client-server technology to create a powerful, flexible communication channel. The server can connect to any data source to distribute information to whom you want, when you want and how you want. So you are able to use digital signage in a new, more effective way.
Connectivity enables you to access data through an ODBC connector, integrate with DDE and Excel files from Reuters or Bloomberg or link to legacy systems with terminal emulators. As for distribution, Plasmanet digital signage software can be designed to route data and messaging via almost any channel, including desktop PCs, plasma screens, LCDs, Holopro displays, existing AV distribution matrices, mobile and desk phones, as well as analogue and digital TV systems. Data can also be delivered to IPTV systems.
Plasmanet can also help you manage your network bandwidth. Large media files can be uploaded at off-peak times to avoid network congestion.

• We use open source components. That means you can review our software designs, and also have the freedom to develop and update them.
• All our software is Microsoft Windows compliant and compatible with standard tools, including Microsoft Office applications, Macromedia Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat and Quicktime. It is also compatible with XML, HMTL, RSS, Javascript and Windows Media Video.
• Plasmanet is also Cisco and Exterity compatible.
• Our software can stream live and real-time information by integrating with any types of data sources, including the Internet, broadcast TV, RSS, news agencies, telephony switches, Excel spreadsheets, Access & SQL databases.
